The Rip City men did the all but impossible, holding the Gold Coast Trio of Jason Cadee, Lamar Patterson and Tanner Krebs to zero points in the box score.

The effort thanks to a game cancellation due to unsafe playing conditions as a result of the weather. The men now look forward to squaring up with perennial power Logan Thunder.

The Thunder are off to a 1-1 start, dropping their second game up in Darwin to the Salties. Logan has struggled to get their entire team on the floor in rounds 1 and 2 but look to be ready moving forward.

Led by star point guard Jeremy Kendle, who is averaging 34 points thanks to a big effort in game one against Southern Districts, the Thunder will have a potent offensive attack that will be the key for the men to secure a win.

The back court for Logan boasts young talent in Boston Mazlin and Max Kerle and a boost from NBL swingman Rasmus Bach.

The front court is led by ex-NBL forwards Obi Kyei and Mitch Young.

The men will look to continue their balanced offensive attack that is led by the versatility of Kouat Noi and speed of Verle Williams while getting continued contributions from captain Izzy Tueta and forward Eric McAlister.

Watch the men take on Logan at Bendigo Bank Cornubia Sports Park Centre or on the NBL1 website this Saturday at 8 p.m.
