The USC Rip City men are gearing up for this weekends Sunshine Coast derby against the Phoenix. Coming off the bye week, the Rip City men have taken the opportunity to get the roster healthy as they expect the return of forwards Kouat Noi and Eric McAlister, as they are ready for the second stage of the season.

The Phoenix men come into the game with a record of 6-4. Mason Bragg comes into the game as the Phoenix’s leading scorer at 17.4 points per game, followed by Jamaal Robateau at 16.1, Jonathan Janssen at 15.7 and Darnell Robateau at 14.8.

Nelson Kahler comes into the game averaging a double double with 12 points and 10 rebounds per game. With the balanced offensive attack, the Rip City defence will have it’s work cut out for them as they look to improve on that end of the floor.

The Phoenix also come in as one of the best rebounding teams in the league and will be a great test for the Rip men to match their physicality. The men will look to continue their offensive punch out of the bye week, with their ability to score the ball in many different ways.
