Rip City is pleased to announce the signings of Meghan Ditchburn, Maddie Doorn and Camryn Hughes for the 2022 NBL1 North season.

Meghan and Maddie return from last years squad as they look to continue building a strong foundation for this season.

Both Meghan and Maddie provide a front court presence and versatile skill sets that will provide depth alongside import Ashley Arlen.

“I am really excited to get on court this season and play for the Rip City family. We have had some great signings this offseason, securing key parts from last year and adding Maddy Rocci who I am extremely close with.

Jamie has done a great job of recruiting a team of talented, hardworking and genuinely good people.” said Meghan.

After a successful 2021 QSL season with Rip City, Coach Glover has given the nod to Camryn for the 2022 NBL1 campaign.

Camryn will provide athleticism and an ability to put pressure on opposing defences with her ability to get to the basket. We look forward to having Meghan, Maddie and Camryn on the court this year.

USC’s NBL1 season starts in April with the first six rounds on the road due to Suncorp Super Netball but Rip City’s run home will be mostly at home. Rip City are looking forward to the first home game on the 11th June vs Southern District Spartans. The finals will be played in August-September after a 15-round regular season.
